Central Texas Pride Community Center is working with Wild Meadows Arts Collective to offer a unique experience for working artists and drag performers. We strongly believe in promoting and assisting up-and-coming queer artists. The residencies will be from Pride to Pride of each year, with a showing of each artist's works during Pride.
Currently, each residency will include, one free show/showing of their work in the studio space or on the grounds of Wild Meadows, 200 hrs rehearsal and workspace at Wild Meadows, a professional photoshoot, mentorship by professional working artists in the queer community, A year of FREE classes at Wild Meadows and up to 2 private lessons a month!
*Currently neither residency includes any financial assistance. Both CTPCC and Wild Meadows Arts Collective are devoted to this program and developing it further, soon to offer financial scholarship and more in future cycles.
