When: Improv Jams were typically held the last Sunday of every month from 8:00 - 9:30 p.m. in various San Antonio locations.

Special Seasonal Improv Jam SeriesOnce a year SADU hosts a special Improv Jam series highlighting a particular location. This is in addition to the regularly scheduled jams and is still free and open to the public. Each consisting of four jams.

Contact Improvisation (CI) is a contemporary dance form that emerged in the 1970s which explores the fundamentals body mechanics, gravity, and connection through the medium of the moving body in contact with another moving body.
Contact Lab is open to everyone regardless of perceived skill level, age, or gender. As long as you are interested in a space to explore the techniques, structures, and ideas that lead to a dance 'in contact' with other people then you are welcome.
